CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show opened its doors between the 8th and the 11th of January 2013, presenting the public the latest innovations in the technology and electronics world. From huge TVs that reach a few square meters to the latest smartphones, androids or innovations in the audio-video accessories, all these were seen during this week by a select audience of journalists and specialists. This show is held every year in Las Vegas Convention Center in the American state of Nevada and is not open to the public, featuring all sorts of gadgets and new technologies – ready or still in the project stage – and announcing new types of technologies ready to come out on the market.
This year CES had a pretty big success, more than 3,000 manufacturers presenting their products in the field of Audio, Video, 3D, accessories, automotive electronics, embedded technology, luxury electronic gadgets and wireless products.
Among the most anticipated and acclaimed presentations this year we mention the one of the multi-view TV from Samsung, the gaming PC Tablet from Razer Edge, ATOM CPU from Intel, Project Shield, Android gaming tablet from Nvidia and smart Panasonic TVs. Moreover, other manufacturers showed their discoveries in the field of robotics, entertainment and lifestyle for the public to know what to expect in the years to come, together with scale prototypes of electronic equipment whose functions are not yet conclusive.
CES 2013 proved to be a success, with over 3,000 participants and 800 spokespersons who presented the most important products. This year’s meeting turned out to be more profitable than the previous ones.
